Living Wisdom Voices

Students, parents, and alumni in their own words.

Living Wisdom offers a unique program that I wish all students everywhere could benefit from, because they are giving the individual student a chance to understand who they are in relation to their world.

Jack Dieckmann, Living Wisdom Parent

Educational Researcher, Stanford University

Our daughter progressed beautifully in her academic environment as she learned to manage stress, choose happiness, and be a joy-filled child.

Raju Parikh, Living Wisdom Parent

Director of Early Learning Programs at Stanford University

For me, the real magic of Living Wisdom School is the environment. They somehow create a place where kids can flourish. It’s been beautiful to see my son come alive and blossom.

To say that Living Wisdom has changed my life would be an understatement. In addition to a rich and personalized academic education, I learned core skills for living a happy and joyful life. The teachers genuinely care and

are always accessible.

Jay Iyer, LWS Graduate

Swarthmore College, Mathematics

The teachers are incredibly multi-talented, enthusiastic, and personable. They never hesitate to help students one-on-one and truly care about personal growth. From performing an original play to traveling to Italy, each year brought bigger challenges and adventures.

Kevin Luo, Living Wisdom Graduate

Oxford College at Emory University

This school soon became home. There’s a sense of genuine curiosity and enjoyment here that made me enjoy subjects I used to groan at, like history and science. I’ve grown in ways here that I don’t think I could have in any other school.

Aadi Wu, Living Wisdom Graduate

At Living Wisdom School, I've learned that when I notice I'm feeling an emotion, I concentrate on my will and control myself. This really does make me a master of myself. This quality makes me feel like I can do anything, and I love that.

Living Wisdom School teaches us how to be friendly and kind toward others, and these lessons can stick with us for life. As my ninth year here comes to an end, I realize that 'Presence of Heart' sums up my entire time here—being emotionally engaged and attuned to my own feelings and the feelings of others.

Mason E.

8th Grade

I’ve learned what can happen when I decide I want to do something. My teachers at Living Wisdom School guided me every small step of the way, having endless patience even when I struggled with subjects I didn't like. The culture here and its vision literally fill my heart with music.
